Reviews
When reviewing a book, I look for several things. First, I make not of any severe grammatical and/or editing errors. These are usually obvious trip-ups throughout the story that affect the flow. I also look for inconsistencies in character and plot development. Cohesiveness prevents confusion, especially when novel is part of a series. Along with a sound story structure, I also like to assess how believable the story is. Part of enjoying a good book is being able to immerse yourself into the story. An unbelievable plot or dialog prevents this.
